WHERE IT STARTED
In late 2022, when Kylie was crafting her vision for Khy’s first several collaborations, she was struck by the idea to create a line of fashion-forward-yet-functional outerwear. “There are so few brands who think of puffers from a fashion lens, so it was important to me that we partnered with someone who also shared an innovative, unconventional perspective on this category,” Kylie explains. “I’ve always been a fan of Entire Studios and admire their distinct aesthetic, so it was an easy decision to work with them on this collection.”
A DISTINCT AESTHETIC
The LA-based label quickly established wide recognition for their uniquely identifiable designs after New Zealand natives Sebastian Hunt and Dylan Richards-Diaz launched the brand with a single puffer jacket in 2020. Their iconic debut piece sold out instantly, and while the founding duo has expanded their range significantly over the past few years, this original silhouette remains perhaps the most notable representation of Entire Studios’ masterful ability to fuse luxury, modernity, and innovation.
Entire Studios’ design approach to any new collection—which begins at the perceived endpoint of full, styled looks, informing the pieces to be made with the intention of each to be worn with the next—inspired Kylie’s idea to integrate essential, easy-to-style base layers into the collaboration’s assortment.
The outerwear-focused collection finds balance between fashion and function, presenting refined simplicity with a contemporary edge. The assortment reintroduces the sold-out puffer silhouettes from the first launch, offering a thoughtfully-edited variety of lengths and styles. Launching alongside an updated range of base layers, the pieces are designed to be paired together perfectly for a full, monochromatic look, while remaining versatile enough to stand on their own.
